1. They must be reporting on duty before 30 minutes of their duty timing &enter in OT after wearing uniform (Scrub Suit).

2. After wearing OT uniform they won’t allowed to wander outside the OT without changing it.

3. Take patient to patient charge from relieving staff of Booking surgery& Running surgery.

4. Check that all the OT’s are ready for use.

5. Call the patient for operation as per the schedule.

6. Check that the operation consent, deposit and concern investigation details are available.

7. Before taking patient to OT, check all the instruments are autoclaves & ETO and fumigation of OT has been done.

8. Check that all the equipment's are working properly, check emergency drugs and their expiry.

9. Material should be issued from the stores as per need.

10. Surgeon’s scrub suit &shoes must be ready before surgery.

11. As per Sister in charge assignment, assist the surgeon in the surgery.

12. Ensure that after surgery all the instruments are cleaned & send for sterilization.

13. After surgery, Data maintaining & any investigation should be sent with proper labeling.

14. Prepare list of item used during operation.

15. Prepare MCR for the same.

16. Then transfer the patient to concern post operative ward or ICU.
